How Do We Get Started?
1. You may either complete the Contact Us page, e-mail us at eldercare@dsherinc.com, or telephone us at 718-884-8648. We will follow up with a brief telephone conversation to better understand your situation.
2. We will schedule an initial in-person office or telephone consultation and/or a home assessment. Each are charged at $175 per hour based upon actual time spent. For out of office visits, an additional 15 minutes each way is added to partially offset travel time and costs. Payment is expected at the time of the appointment.
3. After our initial meeting, you may decide to proceed with on-going services. After we receive a signed service agreement and a retainer that covers an estimate of the first month of service, we will introduce you to your care manager.
While we prefer a planned, organized, sane beginning, sometimes one needs to contact us in the middle of a crisis and we will do our best to accommodate you.
